Tayyab Ejaz Mushtaq

Software Engineer

Most freelancers can build you a website. Fewer have shipped software that millions of people use. I've spent my career as a senior engineer inside companies like Dunelm, CRU Group and Certinia — building the systems, pipelines and interfaces that big businesses depend on. Now I bring that same engineering standard to businesses that can't afford to get their website wrong. When you work with me, there's no junior doing the real work and no agency markup — just one experienced engineer who owns your result from first call to launch.

Where I earned my stripes

Certinia

Aug 2025 – Present

Full Stack Developer

  • Develops forecasting features for Certinia's Professional Services Automation (PSA) product, using Apex for backend logic and Lightning Web Components for frontend interfaces.
  • Owns complete feature delivery by managing epics end-to-end, breaking them into actionable user stories and coordinating implementation across sprints.
  • Writes comprehensive test coverage including Apex unit tests, integration tests, and Jest tests to ensure code reliability and platform stability.
  • Reviews, manually tests and approves code changes daily, deploying via Bitbucket Cloud and Jenkins.

CRU Group

Aug 2024 – Feb 2025

Software Engineer

  • Joined CRU Group's first in-house development team, rebuilding and modernising features previously outsourced.
  • Helped create the CRU UI library of reusable components, then used it to refactor the product codebase.
  • Investigated legacy .NET features via spikes and rewrote them in React and TypeScript.
  • Modernised the HTML email templates used for customer communications; deployed through Azure DevOps using Scrumban.

Dunelm

Jul 2022 – Apr 2024

Software Engineer

  • Helped transition the legacy Dunelm website to a micro-frontend architecture, improving how the header, footer and other site components are managed.
  • Developed secure, efficient features with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Tailwind CSS, and fixed bugs on the legacy site.
  • Conducted unit testing with Jest and deployed to production via GitLab pipelines, leveraging AWS services such as CloudFormation.
  • Worked closely with UX designers and QA testers, and took part in hackathons to explore new technologies.

NTT Data

Jun 2021 – Nov 2021

Digital Experience Team Intern

  • Developed software using React JS and TypeScript, managing version control through Git.
  • Provided training to new team members and contributed to the creation of training materials and presentations.
